Free Printable Daily Visual Schedule

Free Autism Visual Schedule

A Visual Schedule is an excellent way to bring order to a child’s day in a clear concise way, in a way that they can understand. I have noticed that my son (5) Jack’s anxiety abates when he knows what is happening for the day and what to expect. Similar with my daughter, she is 10 and even now she will consult the family Daily Schedule to see what is coming up for the day for her and her brothers.

A Visual Schedule gives each child a concrete understanding of what the day ahead will bring, helping them to understand the order the day will take.

Free Autism Printable

In this Free Printable Daily Visual Schedule, I have included a 7 day week Schedule for you to use and I have also included a set of visuals which describe a morning routine (in pictures) and also a brief set of Visuals that note the order of the day, when there is school. You can use each of these with your 7 day week Schedule or use them on your own schedules at home.

In a future Blog Post I will create a set of Free Visuals covering different activities and venues you could add to your Visual Schedule as needed. If you have any recommendations as to what Visuals you would like to have created I would love to hear from you.

Free 7 Day Autism Schedule PDF

The first part of the Free Printable download is the 7 day Schedule. You will notice I have this created over two A4 Pages. You will need to print off each sheet, laminate each sheet, then using cello tape you will attach the first sheet to the second so you will have a seamless 7 day schedule.

In the second Free Download you will see their is a set of Free Visuals you can use as noted above. These will be particularly useful if you have a child that struggles with morning routine and also who struggles with understanding which days they have school.

To ensure you have enough Visuals for each day of the week you can print off multiply copies of page 3 of the download.
